Several members of the orchestra attended a Zoom rehearsal with Phoenix Saxophone Orchestra this morning. Phoenix very kindly invited us and a few brave souls took up the invitation to work on a piece together. We’ve all become very proficient at zooming during lockdown and it’s wonderful to be able to put this to good use. How else would an orchestra in the north of Scotland manage to share a rehearsal with an orchestra in Leicestershire! We really enjoyed the experience. See how happy everyone looks in the picture. Let’s hope this leads to more joint ventures.
