In the midst of the Coronavirus lockdown all our rehearsals are of course cancelled so the news is a bit thin on the ground. All our gigs will be postponed until next year so we haven’t lost any opportunities for performances.
One good bit of news is that Bebhionn is re-joining the orchestra. Bebhionn was a member through her school years and during her music studies at Aberdeen University where Richard was one of her tutors. While she was with us she learned to do musical arrangements and to conduct which was a great addition to the orchestra.This last year she has been away in Dumfries and Galloway as a probationary teacher but has just got a teaching job in Aberdeenshire so is able to come back to us.
