Sometimes we arrange an extra "self help" rehearsal, particularly in the run up to a recording session. These tend to be smaller, informal groups, so they can be a lot of fun.
Our first experiment with a DIY rehearsal went very well. Ben was
learning how to conduct and getting some practical experience using
us as Guinea pigs.
We just needed
the practice!
It was a very intense day of going over
Rhymes & Recollections and Walking With
Mandy in detail.
But it wasn’t all serious, we managed to have our usual quota of laughs even after we stopped
Ben repeating Richard’s jokes to us.
